About UsFounded in 1959 by Ken Darrah and Bob Martin as a West Auckland based carrier, Reliance Transport serviced the local market garden markets. The Company today has enjoyed some good growth and evolved into a modern well run organsation, focused on container transport, Auckland wide. Sadly both of the founders have passed away, but the Company is still owned by the Darrah family and is managed by Mark and Grant Darrah.
Key staff members, several of which are into double digits in service years, ensure that the operations run smoothly and effeiciently. A loyal client base (some of which have been clients for over 40 years) is testament to the type of service Reliance customers enjoy.
Reliance has always placed high importance on operating with the latest equipment, innovating indesign to lead developemnt in the NZ transport industry. An on-site maintenance team provides the backbone of reliability and enables the equipment to be utilised 24 hrs , 7 days a week as demand dictates.
